IPHONE 5S 5C

When you create an event in IPHONE 5S/C, the alert is turned off by default. You can change the behavior by following the given steps

Go to Settings

 

Select Mail,Contacts,Calendars

 

Go to Calendars

select Default Alert Times

Select  Events

select your choice as 30 minutes or 15 minutes or any time preference.

 

Next time, when you create an event, the alert will be automatically set.
